Alongside this, the demand for a competent and professional workforce in the advertising, public relations, and other areas of communication is growing every day.
The Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Iğdır University, aims to educate students who are proficient in the concepts and theories of communication, promotion, advertising, marketing, and public relations, by providing up-to-date education based on the fundamental principles of communication. The program is designed to equip students with the ability to strategically use new communication technologies and apply their knowledge to various communication activities in the business world. The goal is to train communicators who can succeed in both local and global markets in the fields of promotion, advertising, and public relations, and who are strategic thinkers, knowledgeable, innovative, team-oriented, and have developed foreign language skills in the face of increasing global competition.
Graduates of these departments have broader job opportunities in various sectors. They can find employment in advertising agencies, public relations departments, media planning agencies, and the press and public relations departments of large companies. In today's world, the most active departments in companies are marketing and sales. There is always a demand for professionals to work in these departments. Graduates with the necessary education in advertising and public relations can quickly find a job by applying to companies in their field of interest.
